About Yulia Avgustinovich — Public Art Mural Artist
As a professional muralist, I have spent over 20 years creating murals that transform public, private, and community spaces. From my earliest memories, I have always been drawn to art—painting, drawing, performing, and crafting—expressing myself through creativity that now extends to large-scale, site-specific murals.
I was born in 1986 in Baranovichi, Belarus, where I attended art school and began my formal artistic training. I continued my studies at an art college in Minsk, focusing on classical painting, and later earned a degree in public and monumental art with excellence from the Art Academy of St. Petersburg.
After completing my first public art projects and murals, the overwhelming sense of fulfillment and the heartfelt feedback I received confirmed that I had found my true calling. Since then, I have created dozens of murals, both interior and exterior, transforming spaces and enriching the lives of those who experience them. As a public art mural artist, I am inspired by the ability of murals to change how people perceive their surroundings, foster community pride, and help individuals reconnect with their homes or neighborhoods.

I am driven by the excitement of working in new places, meeting new people, and embracing creative challenges. Each project is an opportunity to grow, learn, and stay inspired. My goal is to create murals that leave a lasting impression—works of art that people cannot pass by without noticing. Beyond beautifying cityscapes and private interiors, I aim to uplift, inspire, and bring communities together through thoughtful, site-specific public art.
Nature is a constant source of inspiration. I am fascinated by every detail—the delicate petals of a flower, the intricate veins of a leaf, and the quiet harmony of flora and fauna. My murals reflect this intricacy, using fine brushwork to create compositions that are both striking from afar and captivating up close. By mirroring the complexity of nature, my work invites viewers to pause, observe, and connect with the space in a meaningful way.
Today, I continue to create murals for cities, institutions, commercial clients, and private residences across the United States, driven by the belief that as long as there are empty walls, my mission as a public art mural artist is far from complete.
