“Aurora’s Beauty” is a custom interior mural created for a Kroger supermarket in Aurora, Colorado, commissioned by King Soopers, a division of The Kroger Company. Designed to enhance the store’s gathering and restaurant area, the mural celebrates the unique identity, history, and natural beauty of the city of Aurora.

The Tales of Our Town is a large-scale Batesville Indiana mural created as part of the city’s public art program to celebrate the community’s history, identity, and connection to place. Commissioned by the Batesville IN Public Art Program, the mural was designed to visually share the stories that define the town — from its cultural roots and local traditions to Indiana state symbols and the surrounding natural environment.

These two murals, Indian Paintbrush Flowers and Wonders of Nature, were created for the senior living complex Sage Living in Jackson, Wyoming. Designed to bring beauty, comfort, and a sense of place, the artworks celebrate the natural environment that surrounds the community, connecting residents to the familiar landscapes of their region.

The artwork features a botanical composition inspired by native New York flowers and plants—many of which can also be found on the building’s rooftop terrace. By mirroring the local landscape, the mural creates continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces while grounding the artwork in regional identity. The floral forms soften the architectural lines of the stairwell and introduce warmth, movement, and color into a high-traffic interior circulation area.

Designed to enhance the residential experience while contributing positively to the surrounding neighborhood, the mural celebrates Caldwell’s history, culture, agricultural roots, and natural beauty. The placement above the staircase was carefully considered to ensure the mural interacts with changing viewpoints as one moves through the space. From below, the tree’s branching form draws the eye upward, enhancing the sense of height and openness in the entryway. As viewers ascend the stairs, shifting light and perspective reveal the mural’s subtle dimensional qualities.

Developed in dialogue with the goals of the Space to Create initiative, the mural reflects the values of community, collaboration, and artistic expression. The ceiling was painted to resemble an open sky, framed by grapevines growing along a trellis, evoking the feeling of dining beneath a shaded pergola in the Italian countryside. Surrounding walls feature scenic views of rolling vineyards and distant landscapes inspired by Tuscany. Together, these elements visually expand the space, adding depth, openness, and a sense of calm to the kitchen.
