Symbolic mural in a courtyard of an appartment complex

In October 2023, I painted a vibrant new mural in the courtyard of a Tilian apartment building in Caldwell, Idaho, transforming an ordinary space into a celebration of Southern Idaho’s local landscape and history.

The mural has become a powerful symbol of Caldwell’s community. It blends elements of the region’s flora and fauna with its rich cultural and agricultural heritage. It’s not just a depiction of the present but also a nod to the area’s past.

Creating a mural of this scale was no small feat. The process took months of planning, from initial sketches to the final design. Executing the mural itself required around three weeks of work.

If you’re ever in the Caldwell area, be sure to visit the courtyard at 616 Main St and experience this mural firsthand. It’s more than just a painting – it’s a story, a celebration, and a piece of the community’s shared history, brought to life on the wall.
