Symbolic Wall Mural

I painted this symbolic mural in the heart of downtown Boise, Idaho in June 2021. This mural is a vibrant tribute to Idaho’s unique identity, blending state symbols, native flora and fauna, and historic and cultural elements into one cohesive design. It’s a visual story that celebrates the state’s rich heritage, natural beauty, and diverse community.

Idaho’s breathtaking landscapes are home to iconic species like the syringa, state flower, mountain bluebird, great heron, and the majestic peregrine falcon. These elements weave through the mural, highlighting the state’s connection to nature and its conservation values.

From nods to Boise’s Basque community to depictions of historic landmarks, the mural honors the city’s cultural mosaic and its role as Idaho’s capital.

This mural stands as a reminder of what makes Idaho so special—its blend of natural wonders and cultural depth. I’m deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to downtown Boise’s vibrant artistic landscape.

The mural is painted on the walls of Jefferson Place, 350 N 9th St, Boise, ID 83702
