Mural “Symbols of Colorado”
Mural “Symbols of Colorado” was created for Denver Urban Arts Fund graffiti prevention program.
The mural was painted on the wall of the Cherry Creek trail in Confluence
Park in Denver, CO. It was painted in November of 2018, it was my last
outdoor project for the year.
The mural is featuring Colorado symbols: state dinosaur, state bird and state reptile.
It is a sequel to my 2016 mural “Viva Colorado”, that acquainted visitors with other state symbols.
You can learn more about the subjects of this mural in my blog post here >
This mural was funded by the Denver Arts Fund. It spanned over 850 square
feet and it took me 20 days to finish. To see more pictures
from the mural painting process please visit this blog post >
After the project was finished Denver branch of Telemundo, American Spanish language terrestrial television network, made a story about me, my art and this mural project.
