Fence Art for the 40 West ArtLine in Lakewood, CO.
Another fun project that I created for the 40 West ArtLine.
The idea for the fence decoration was to cover ugly construction equipment storage that is stored behind the fence.
The fence is located on Lamar street, a busy rout for pedestrians who use Lightrail.
The noth eastern part of Lakewood has a large spanish speaking population. That is why the phrase “Today is the day” is written in both languages, English and Spanish.
The fence art was made using vinyl privacy tape, created specialy for weaving into chain link fence.
The design for this fence decor was inspired by native american weavings and designs.
Photographs of the process of the creation of this project with my husband Nick Angelo.

I created two more projects for the 40 West ArtLine: ground murals in Mountair park, and on 17th street, near the DMV in Lakewood.
